Project’s Main Partner: Foundation for the Development of the Education System FRSE responsible for co-financing of the project and, in particular, representing many years of experience in the area of international educational cooperation in Europe.

Other Partners: European organizations in the field of engineering and technology such as engineers associations (FEANI), accreditation agencies (ENAEE), engineering education (SEFI), employers associations (CEEMET, ORGALIME), and ranking organization (IREG Observatory and rankings organizations in the European countries).

Foundation for the Development of the Education System FRSE (Fundacja Rozwoju Systemu Edukacji FRSE – in Polish) is the only institution in Poland displaying extensive expertise in managing European educational programs. Initially, the foundation implemented TESSA, TERM, and SMART programs funded by PHARE, as well as Tempus programme. In 1998, when Poland, a country associated with the European Union, commenced the implementation of community educational programs, the Foundation was a natural coordinator for the implementation of the Socrates and Youth for Europe programs.

In the years 2007-2013, the Foundation coordinated the implementation of the Lifelong Learning Program (including Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius and Grundtvig) and the Youth in Action program in Poland. Thanks to the integrity and reliability of its operations, FRSE has been appointed the Polish National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme implemented in the years 2014-2020.

FRSE is also responsible for other European informational and educational initiatives in Poland: European Language Label, eTwinning, Eurodesk, Europass and Eurydice. The Foundation supports cooperation with countries in the East via Polish-Lithuanian Youth Exchange Fund and SALTO-EECA Eastern Europe and Caucasus Resource Centre. For several years, the Foundation has acted as the Operator of the Scholarship and Training Fund operating as part of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the EEA Mechanism, as well as the Scientific Exchange ProgrammeSciex-NMSch. Since 2012, FRSE has implemented three projects under Human Capital Operational Programme Priority III: High Quality of the Education System.

The Foundation’s main aim is support, in its broad sense, for activities serving the development of education in Poland. The FRSE realizes its aim through the coordination of educational programs of the European Union, among others. The programs include such participants as children, young people and adults – from pre-schoolers to senior citizens.

“Perspektywy” Education Foundation (Fundacja Edukacyjna „Perspektywy” – in Polish) is an independent, non-profit organization established (1998) to promote and support education. Its Board consists of present and former rectors and outstanding public figures interested in the development of higher education in Poland and globally.

 “Perspektywy” publishes annually university ranking of Polish universities (, and ranking of the best secondary schools in the country. These rankings are recognized as the most popular and reliable educational rankings in Poland. It also runs the Secretariat of the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence, a global association of ranking organizations and universities. ( )

“Perspektywy” with the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP) runs a joint program “Study in Poland” promoting Polish universities abroad and helping universities attract international students. (
